Interested in Running for a Seat on Council?

The nomination period for the Acadia Students’ Union By-Election runs from Monday, January 8th, 2018 to Monday, January 29th, 2018 at 4:00 PM. All ordinary and associate members of the Acadia Students’ Union are eligible to run for office and to vote in the election.

Completed nomination forms can be submitted to the Info Desk at the Union Market in the Students’ Union Building (SUB) no later than Monday, January 29th, 2018 at 4:00 PM.

Election Complaints

The Article 12 of By-Law Three (Union Elections Act) gives candidates the right to access a formal grievance process to resolve allegations of unfair campaigning relating to any ASU election.

Items identifed with green text were recently updated (November 2017) and it is strongly recommended that candidates review these documents closely as some regulations may have been changed since the last Union election.
