The ASU is undergoing a complete review of it’s bylaws to ensure our organization’s practices promote a diverse, inclusive, and supportive Acadia student body.
Our new DRAFT by-laws aim to help the ASU’s council better represent and communicate with students and make our election process more accessible and fair.
Come take a look and have your say on the new proposed by-laws on Thursday, November 8th from 2-6pm (come and go at your leisure) in the Beveridge Forum on the upper level of the New SUB (just off the Michener Lounge).
Please see the draft versions of by-laws 1, 2. & 3 below.
Should you have any questions or comments about the by-laws and you aren’t able to attend today’s session please send your comments to George Philp, ASU President at firstname.lastname@example.org or call his office at (902) 585-2131.
The ASU Students’ Representative Council will be meeting on November 20th and December 4th at 5:15pm in the Beveridge Forum to discuss and vote on the proposed updates. All are welcome to attend and voice their opinions at these meetings.
