ASU Issues Comment on Ray Ivany

Acadia Students’ Union, the representative organization of the students of Acadia University, would like to thank President Ray Ivany for his service and his contributions to the University and the student body, as he prepares to retire.
“We are saddened to learn that Ray will be leaving us.  As University President, he has made a deep and personal connection with many current and former students of Acadia,” says Suzanne Gray, ASU President.  “Since his arrival here at Acadia in 2009, his impact has been immense and he has worked tirelessly on behalf of our institution.  I consider myself very fortunate to have worked with him in my capacity, and I know I speak on behalf of everyone in our organization.  His leadership and vision is exemplary and we are fortunate to have had such an inspirational leader.”
Ray Ivany, President and Vice-Chancellor of Acadia University announced he will be retiring as the fifteenth President of Acadia University, effective June 30, 2017.
