It is my pleasure to inform you that the application period for several hired positions with the Acadia Students’ Union has opened today. This is the perfect opportunity to get involved with the Acadia Students’ Union next year (2018/2019), especially if the idea of running in an election is not something that you want to do. The terms of these positions run from May 1st, 2018 to April 30th, 2019 and will serve alongside your elected representatives chosen in the #ASUGeneral2018 Election next month!

What is the hiring process consist of?
All positions outlined above are hired by the ASU’s Hiring Committee, which is composed of six (6) current Acadia students. After the application period closes, the Hiring Committee will review all applications received by the deadline and will contact qualified candidates to schedule an interview. These interviews are designed to consider your skills and experience in relation to the job requirements, as outlined in the Job Description. Applicants will be provided with one (1) question the evening prior to the scheduled interview and the remainder of the questions will be made available fifteen (15) minutes before the interview is scheduled to begin.
As student ourselves, we want this process to be as inclusive and welcoming as possible. We know that interviews can be very difficult for students, and particularly those who are differently abled.
