The ASU Food Cupboard was founded to give Acadia University students access to emergency food services on campus. This new resource provides emergency food support to any student along with miscellaneous living supplies such as toilet paper and feminine hygiene products. With these supplies, the room also provides nutritional information, dietary support, and budgeting tools that are available to all students. The long-term objectives of the Food Cupboard are to enhance student food literacy and nutrition through educational programming including community meals, cooking classes, and workshops.
