2017-11-05 What is Council Doing This Week?

Happy Monday, Acadia!¬†ūüėä
On Tuesday evening, Council will be presented with a notice that a proposal to change the Union election rules and regulations will be considered by Council on November 16th, 2017. This is an important document as it represents the latest major overhaul of the Election By-Law in many years and will, if passed, form the basis of the 2018 General Election in February 2018.
This Regular Meeting of¬†Council¬†will start at¬†5:00 PM¬†in the¬†Beveridge Forum (off of¬†the Michener¬†Lounge in the Students’ Union Building (SUB)).¬†At this meeting, several members of Council will also present their program/project proposals for the Fall Semester ranging from an Axe night for 1st-year students to an ASU Career Fair.
If you have any questions, comments or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me anytime or visit me during my office hours, posted at http://theasu.ca/who-we-are/students-representative-council/office-hours-2/.
