The Information Desk is a service provided by Acadia Students’ Union to the student body, staff, faculty, and the general community. It is located on the Main Level of the Students’ Centre. The Information Desk provides the following services:
Postal Services including stamps, various sized envelopes, X-Press Post Envelopes, Priority Courier Envelopes, and packaging accessories. We do not accept packages from courier companies for students.

ASU Mailboxes can be rented for $40.00 plus tax. Acadia Students’ Union does not allow students to share mailboxes. The replacement fee for each lost mailbox key is $25.00 plus tax. Outgoing mail leaves the Information Desk Post Office at 3:00 pm daily and incoming mail is sorted by 5:00 pm in the mail room. Parcels are kept for a maximum of two weeks. Internal mailboxes are available upon request to eligible groups. Mailboxes that hold accumulated mail for over a month will automatically be closed unless prior arrangements have been made with the Building Manager.

Dry-Cleaning is a service brought to you by the ASU in conjunction with Vail’s Dry Cleaning. We are a drop-off and pick-up location for your convenience. The ASU is not responsible for items that are not picked up after two weeks.
Tickets/Posters are sold for most upcoming events and activities that are hosted by the ASU. A maximum of six posters for events can be posted free of charge on the bulletin boards within the Students’ Centre. Notices must be stamped and hung in the appropriate areas by the Building Manager on duty, or they will be removed without prior notice.More Info

The ASU is pleased to present the new look “Axe Handle”, complete with a revised menu and student-friendly pricing. Welcome to the Axe Bar & Grill, your official campus bar and community hub.
The newly renovated Axe is found in the Student Union Building on the bottom level and is student run and student led. The Axe is the site for the best Friday night parties this campus sees, and of course our Wing and Trivia Night on Wednesdays are always packed to capacity. In addition to this, we offer great food at affordable prices. The space transforms from a hangout place and restaurant during the day to a bumping social space at night.

The Axe is a full service restaurant and bar for students, faculty, staff, alumni, locals and more located on the 200 level of the Students’ Centre. The Axe, with a modern upbeat theme, features a double-decker dance floor, a spacious and recently renovated patio, wrap-around bar, big screen TVs, and a pool table, is the best live venue on campus. It can accommodate well over 300 people inside and up to 80 people outside.

The Axe is the social hub at Acadia and in the community. You must be 19 years of age to be admitted to the Axe during evenings and events that are not wet/dry (2 pieces of Photo ID are required). Anyone without an Acadia ID must be signed in by a current of-age student or Alumnus.
Each student may sign in only one guest per night. You are responsible for anyone that you sign in. Your guest must have two pieces of government-issued ID in order to be signed in. Violating any Axe policy could result in a ban from the facility and ASU events.More Info
The ASU Food Cupboard was founded to give Acadia University students access to emergency food services on campus. This new resource provides emergency food support to any student along with miscellaneous living supplies such as toilet paper and feminine hygiene products. With these supplies, the room also provides nutritional information, dietary support, and budgeting tools that are available to all students. The long-term objectives of the Food Cupboard are to enhance student food literacy and nutrition through educational programming including community meals, cooking classes, and workshops.
