Welcome to the Axe Bar & Grill, your official campus bar and community hub.

The newly renovated Axe is found in the Student Union Building on the bottom level and is student run and student led.  The Axe is the site for the best Friday night parties this campus sees, and of course our Wing and Trivia Night on Wednesdays are always packed to capacity. In addition to this, we offer great food at affordable prices. The space transforms from a hangout place and restaurant during the day to a bumping social space at night.

Be sure to check here for the latest event postings and updates, and like our Facebook Page.

The Axe is a full service restaurant and bar for students, faculty, staff, alumni, locals and more located on the 200 level of the Students’ Centre. The Axe, with a modern upbeat theme, features a double-decker dance floor, a spacious and recently renovated patio, wrap-around bar, big screen TVs, and a pool table, is the best live venue on campus. It can accommodate well over 300 people inside and up to 80 people outside.

Check out the food specials including the popular wing night on Wednesdays. To find out what’s happening at the Axe, check out The Axe Bar & grill on Facebook. The Axe is the social hub at Acadia and in the community. You must be 19 years of age to be admitted to the Axe during evenings and events that are not wet/dry (2 pieces of Photo ID are required). Anyone without an Acadia ID must be signed in by a current of-age student or Alumnus.

Each student may sign in only one guest per night. You are responsible for anyone that you sign in. Your guest must have two pieces of government-issued ID in order to be signed in. Violating any Axe policy could result in a ban from the facility and ASU events.
